We pride ourselves on the high quality of our service and products. Your original prints remain completely unaltered and are treated with the utmost care throughout the process. The original photograph is scanned using state of the art Epson equipment and a copy is produced and processed to your specifications and to the highest standards. We only use genuine Epson inks and photo paper for printing photographs. Our Photo Art portraits are printed on a high quality artist's watercolour paper, and are mounted and framed to the highest standard according to your own preferences.
Photo Art
High quality 'Photo Art' (example above) makes a unique and personal gift for a special occasion. Based on your photograph, the image is manipulated to produce a 'pen and ink' / 'watercolour' effect and is then finished using a graphics tablet to rework areas and enhance detail (this is effectively 'hand finishing' by means of the latest digital technology). The resulting artwork is not only unique but is guaranteed to be an excellent likeness of the subject, thus giving you the best of both worlds: a lovely portrait with the characteristics of an original painting or drawing but without the possible disadvantage of a poor likeness which can be the result when a portrait is entirely hand drawn.
Restoration, Repair, Makeover and Manipulation
We produce an enhanced copy of the original photograph, removing all blemishes (tears, scratches, fading, pen marks, creases, stains, colour casts). If necessary, we can even reproduce sections of a photo that are completely missing, or remove unwanted people or objects! This service is suitable not only for old and damaged photographs but also for undamaged but flawed images (for example, a photographic portrait revealing a few too many wrinkles, or a group photograph which includes an individual perhaps best forgotten (it does happen!). We provide four different levels of repair service, and will advise which is required according to the level of damage when we examine your photograph. Prices start at £15 for a standard repair, which includes a 6 x 4 print.
